Our Story

Built by People Who Actually Read the Research

Novium-9 didn't come from a marketing department. It came from years of reading clinical studies, questioning industry norms, and refusing to put our name on anything we wouldn't take ourselves.

Section 02 / The Problem

The Problem We Saw

We spent years trying supplements that looked great on the label and did nothing in practice. The ingredients were right. The doses weren't. A formula with 20 ingredients sounds impressive until you realize none of them are at a dose that matters.

The industry has a name for this: fairy-dust dosing. Just enough of each ingredient to print on the label. Nowhere near enough to produce the effect shown in the research.

We got tired of it. So we built something different.

Section 03 / Our Approach

How We Build a Formula

Every ingredient in Novium-9 had to pass two filters and survive the comparison. The questions never changed.

01

Is there published human research?

Specifically: published, peer-reviewed, in human subjects, at a defined dose, in a controlled setting. If the best evidence was a rat study or a manufacturer's white paper, we moved on.

02

Can we fit a meaningful dose?

If the answer to step 01 was yes, the next question: can we fit a dose at-or-above the research minimum into a 2-capsule daily serving, without compromising anything else in the formula? If the math didn't work, we moved on.

03

What survived?

9 ingredients. Each at or above the minimum dose used in the research that convinced us to include it. Every decision documented on the Science page.

Examples of decisions this filter forced
  • Active-form B-vitamins — chosen because roughly 40% of people can't efficiently convert the cheap synthetic forms.
  • Sunflower-derived Phosphatidylserine — chosen over the soy-derived alternative to avoid allergen concerns.
  • Caffeine, L-Theanine, Lion's Mane excluded — the evidence didn't meet our standard, even though including them would have made the label more marketable.

We'd rather show you our reasoning than ask you to trust our marketing.

Section 04 / What We Stand For

Three Things We Won't Compromise On

01

Peer-Reviewed Research

Every ingredient earned its place the same way: published human studies, controlled settings, measurable outcomes. If the best evidence is a rat study or a manufacturer's white paper, it doesn't make the formula.

02

Clinical Doses

9 ingredients instead of 20. The difference is that every one of ours is at the dose shown to work in the research that convinced us to include it. Most labels are ingredient lists disguised as formulas. Ours is a formula.

03

Full Disclosure

Every ingredient, every dose, every reason on the Science page. The label groups three ingredients into a blend; the website breaks the blend open. We explain what we included, what we excluded, and why. Check our work.
